There is a $200 setup fee associated with this. unless waived by Al or Travis due to good sponsorship.
Set up fee would include
- creating or accessing tech soup account and verifying the non-profit status (requires USCCB EIN IRS letter and Catholic Directory page listing)
- registering or enrolling in either Google Workspace for non-profits or Microsoft 365 set up
- creating new email accounts
- possible migration or syncing of current accounts, pending current set up syncing capabilities
- launching or editing DNS records on domain to make email live in new set up
*** we have a little more experience with Google than with Microsoft
We recommend either Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Both can be acquired at a nonprofit rate (free or almost free) if you can verify non-profit status via Tech Soup.
Both will come with a suite of resources: mail, word or docs, excel or sheets, drive or cloud, etc., calendar and contacts
Please take into account if you are already paying for Microsoft.
Google calendar works better with the website.
Use the email below if Solutio will be setting this up for the client.

During our consultation meeting XXXXXX, we discussed one process that needs to happen soon is applying for Google Apps nonprofit edition.
Since the version of GSuite that your account uses has reached its limits, let's get the set up upgraded to GSuite for nonprofit.
Google has paired with TechSoup to verify non-profits. These steps are not very difficult, but I have found the process changes ever so slightly from time to time. I am asking permission for Solutio to act on behalf of XXXXeNTITyXXXXX to complete this process via TechSoup:
If this has been done for XXentityXXX previously, please provide me with the respective association code for TechSoup.
In my experience, this process takes up to two weeks time.
All that information I need I can find on your website, with the exception of your annual budget.
----------------------
Please enter your organization’s annual operating budget. This is an estimate of what it will cost to run your organization's programs for the fiscal year.
For 501(c)(3) organizations, this corresponds to the annual expenses reported to the IRS in the most recent filing year (line 18 of IRS Form 990; line 17 of IRS Form 990EZ).

I look forward to hearing back from you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
