Greetings,

With the website scheduled to launch on XXXXMonday, these are the DNS changes needed to launch it:

  • update the A record on the base domain ( apexXXXDOMAIN  )
    • current value: 184.168.139.1 (look up value(s) in putty dig) 
    • new value: 54.83.55.79

The site is already configured to accept this domain, so once you make the DNS changes, it will be launched after the DNS records propagate throughout the internet.  Be sure to let Joel and I know when the domain records have been updated. We will need to enable SSL on the domain from our end, but cannot do that until the new site launches.

Dear XXXXXXXX

Christ's peace be with you.  We have greatly enjoyed working with you to get the website up and running for St. XXXXXXX Parish.  Because you are currently in the unlimited support period of our relationship, all questions you've had, and modifications you've requested, have been resolved with no cost being incurred on your part.  Per the terms of our agreement, your period of unlimited support will end on XXXXXX October 25, 2015.

After that date, all support incidents will be charged at our normal support rate.  When you request assistance, a $25 base fee will be charged. If the incident requires more than ten minutes to resolve, then a fee of $1.83/minute will be charged in addition to the base fee for the first minute over ten. In our experience, 90% of support requests are able to be resolved in 10 minutes or less.

This charge does not apply to password/account questions, server issues/maintenance/upgrades, or billing questions. It will apply to items such as changes on pages, style adjustments, training, or other general questions. We will do our best to give you a notice if the support request will require more than one hour to complete. If you have a larger project that you'd like us to assist you with, then there will be no charge for you to request a quote for the amount that the project will cost.
